"Making a Lasting Impression!"
In the late 19th century France, Impressionism was an anti-establishment style. Over time, however, it became one of the most beloved styles in the history of art! This 6-part weekly course will focus on the years Impressionism took hold of the art world. From its rise to its inevitable demise, we'll examine the movement's stylistic priorities of light and colour through the works of famous artists like Monet, Renoir, Degas, and Cassatt. We hope you join us on this journey as we experience the beauty of a style that has endured the test of time!
